THE NISSAN NAVARA - TOUGH AT WORK. HARD AT PLAY

The Nissan Navara range features masses of power, torque and towing capacity. The Navara range offers every hard working Aussie a choice of engines: a powerful V6 petrol or a tough-as-nails turbo diesel. Nissan's latest generation 4.0 litre V6 petrol engine is available on all ST-X Dual Cab models, and it's a beauty. It pushes out a massive 198kW of power and 385Nm of torque at 4000rpm to make sure you'll get where you're going, carrying just about anything.

The 2.5 litre turbo diesel offers Nissan's latest generation common-rail technology and is no slouch when it comes to grunt, with 126kW of power and 403Nm of torque on the Dual Cab and King Cab models. Naturally, being diesel, this engine returns impressive fuel economy.

And all this performance is mated to either a smooth shifting 6-speed manual or 5-speed auto transmission (auto not available on Single Cab). Inside, you'll find Navara is as practical and functional as it is outside. But just because you're working hard doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy a few creature comforts. All RX models come standard with a CD player with AM/FM radio, air-conditioning and plenty of clever storage compartments all around the Cabin.

The Dual Cab offers rear seating for 3 plus extra storage underneath. And the new King Cab includes two fold up seats in the back. If you feel like treating yourself to a few more luxuries, consider moving up to an ST-X. These models include added features like cruise control, power windows, power mirrors and 6-disc CD player. The rear load area in the Dual Cab and King Cab ST-X P/U models is long, deep and wide which creates a large and versatile carrying space. The Dual Cab ST-X also features Nissan's innovative Utili-track load restraint system to make loading simpler, quicker and safer.
